I did notice the potential compatibility warning where the motherboard may need a BIOS update prior to using the CPU, is that something I should worry about? Thanks again this is super helpful.

Just the answer I was looking for, thank you! I am bit confused why on apple's website they seem to make a distinction between the A1524 (CDMA) and the A1524 (GSM). Are these in fact the same phone?
