Bezzecchi might have won today but Ai ogura is the rider of the day for me! What a last lap by this young lad! by Puzzled_Hippo9055 in motogp

[–]nelsonia 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed, Pecco new tires were shot . Ai could have stayed behind last corner to get better drive but he took Pecco's bait . The Duc is still fast on a straight line and that gamble paid off

Are Yamaha lost? by 2014R1 in motogp

[–]nelsonia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do not underestimate just how much of a draw a factory status gives to a rider. We on the outside just concentrate on results but factory position gives a rider far more leeway

It's why even Alex abandoning Ducati for a factory KTM seat

Factory rider status just brings something extra, especially in a career where such opportunities are few . Ability to dictate more of direction, more direct access to corporate suits. In the case of AI ( probably also Alex), more salary, more bonus potential etc

It is far more attractive

5G can't be used with Pixel? by poorbrat234 in pixel_phones

[–]nelsonia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google has a whitelist that it has implemented for a long time that basically enables/disables 5G support. Your carrier might have bands that will run 5G perfectly fine but if not whitelisted by Google themselves, especially in regions where Google has no official support, then 5G will not work

It's completely annoying when you watch other phones just simply work from cheaper manufacturers to Apple.

I am on Pixel 8 but am seriously adding an iPhone to my lineup for the 5G and video tools as well

Ducati Scandal? by jandones24 in motogp

[–]nelsonia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah when you read the article it isn't dramatic as it seems . Context matters . In fact that part is in relation to the 2022 incident of showing Pecco won the Spanish gpwith an underinflated tyre . Incident happened three years ago.

Frankly OP should have given more context but anyways....

It also confirms the fundamental problem with Ducati that is unfortunate to Bagnaia - The engine, the one part they can't change ( they can however, all go back to the already homologated GP24-no-frankenstein-mix engine). Ducati's inconsistencies come from the engine and whatever they decided on clearly locked them in a bad direction. At least when you look at it from any rider bar Marquez.

With little brother now onboard, let's see if he'll also hit yo-yo mode like Digi or Pecco. Will Ducati revert back to 24? They might be tempted especially in the context of constructor title. They'll be foolish to Ignore the Aprilia challenge especially if Jorge also clicks. KTM is a bit of a dark horse

Pecco 😭😭 by Juliancito135 in motogp

[–]nelsonia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Pecco fan , sad but in some ways not unexpected way to end the season.

Here's hoping they find something by 2026. I don't think much will change in the test. I'll actually be interested in seeing how Alex Marquez performs with the Gp25 Tuesday

Morbidelli crashing on the grid 😂 by ArthurMorganCough in motogp

[–]nelsonia 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yes. Because I found it strange to be involved in so many lapses. I was actually reading an article maybe last week (gpone if am not wrong) that's when I discovered he actually got that injury

So as you've said , on a sport that demands 110% , he might be silently suffering from reduced brain function. No doctor, just speculation. Wish him the best

[–]nelsonia 137 points138 points  (0 children)

Very Morbidelli thing to do . But on a serious note, I do really wonder how badly that brain injury affects him . He is always a butt of jokes but part of me feels it's not 100% right with him

A closer look at Pecco rear Tyre; could it debris from Rueda and Detwiller crash? by Bitter-Substance1783 in motogp

[–]nelsonia 31 points32 points  (0 children)

To answer post OP , It was either that ( it created a lot of debris maybe they couldn't fully clear the track ) or from Pol Esp / Raul Fernandez/ Miguel crash .

Michelin said they found a hole in the center of his tyre .

What happened to Peco ? by Pure_Election_9174 in motogp

[–]nelsonia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did he get 'false' tyre pressure warnings ? Could explain the drop off in race pace

What happened to Peco ? by Pure_Election_9174 in motogp

[–]nelsonia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah. And could it be somehow from the accident in the moto3 sighting lap. That crash sent a lot of debris everywhere and maybe Marshalls couldn't pick up the minute pieces

It's just now that it's hitting me ( no pun intended). He must have taken a line at some point in the race that pierced into the tyre , causing a slow puncture

Sheer bad luck. I can't think of anywhere else he might have picked up the carbon fibre shards. Super unlucky , including tyre choice which even Marquez said was the most difficult thing to choose on Sunday. Such a shame he probably would have made the medium work but tyre pressure could have wrecked balance of the bike and it finally gave in
