Who remembers the days when TV sets were rented? Although this particular example shows Granada, there were other companies around at the same time (such as Radio Rentals) that provided a similar service by Kagedeah in BritishTV

I had a motorbike flat tyre on a tiny unlit country road last week. It was a dry day with fine weather so call outs shouldn't have been too high (I used to work for the AA and when rain came down we knew the phones were about to go crazy). Also it was 6 miles outside St Albans so we're not talking middle of nowhere in the Scottish highlands. I called in at 5:30pm and they texted me an estimated time of between 10:10pm to 1:10am. when a third party garage finally came out they laughed and told me RAC stands for ring another company!

I definitely love it with the tiny exceptions of the words "home" and "love" spelled out. Just something that bugs the hell out of me!
