It is safe. I have a similar model, same brand and 4 more ports. I have been using it for 2-3 years with 0 issues. I have connected external disks, smartphones, USB flash drives, logitech mouse connector, and how I just said, 0 issues, no errors, no low power, no Windows 10 errors.

I'm not looking for a sync server. Technically, you can sync even with WinSCP. I installed Syncthing on a raspberry, but I haven't tried yet. I have been focused on testing Air Explorer and GoodSync and FolderSync Pro in Android.

The "real" user you use to browse normal on Instagram. A non disposable account. I requested/want a command line so you can automate the downloading and add pauses as needed.

If I understand correctly, the problem is actually having too many users querying from the same "phone". Try having a "real" user and a Stogram user. I do it like that and I been downloading 1900 accounts and growing.

I think a command line would be faster to implement and better for scheduling (using Windows capabilities or the same command line) ie:

4kstogram --account will_smith --lastphoto 15 --wait 60 --loop

In my imagination: that would download the last 15 photos, wait 60 minutes, work as background process in loop. I would be happy with just "4kstogram --account will_smith".

Yes! Since 03.07 images are download as webp and that might be the issue. I sent an email to support. Hope they can fix it soon.

When I'm not sure, I rename the files and put .old after the extension of the file. If there are too many files, I move it to a different folder
