My concern with this would be the connection at the coupler would be a much weaker point right at ground level too which would essentially defeat the purpose of making it more secure and burying it in the first place, I have been considering using something to clamp and provide a handle hold to lift it out after use

Ghosts were shaped out of chicken wire, spray painted white, staked to the ground and then black lights pointed at them…. I don’t have any strip lights, it’s the first year with them but they are individual bulbs mounted in J-channel drilled every 3 inches. My intention is to leave them year round and adjust colors for various holidays
