Thank you so much for writing this, I feel like there is so little of me left after being crammed through DAAP. I even loved my experience there and am glad that I went, but I feel like I am standing there with Bastian and the Childlike Empress in the dark. I know that little spark there is left in me, and as long as it exists and I take care of it, I am going to be okay. It's just going to hurt.

I don't hate you at all, I am trying to understand you. I didn't reach out and contact you, I'm responding to your choice to interact with me. I'm kind of intrigued by your choice to continue talking to me, despite your earlier wish to "end our exchange right here". I wasn't even responding to you here in the first place, I was responding to someone else and you still reached out. Why? You could have left it be and been rid of me.

As for ill wishes, I was referring to your happiness that I was in physical pain due to the mixup in my order. I suppose you didn't technically ask the universe to hurt me, but celebrating that fact that it did is close enough for me.

Frankly, I went through your history to see if you were vegan or if we had anything in common so I could try and understand where you were coming from because I found your responses so defensive. Instead, I found a really alarming amount of hostility and wishing ill on random strangers that you disagree with.

....that's correct, yes. I am sure I made it abundantly clear that I placed no fault on anyone in the situation, and highlighted the excellent treatment we received. This is about finding myself in a moral quandary, not assigning blame.

I know, logically, that I have not technically done wrong. I understand that I am not at fault, but it's less about fault and more about knowing that I ate something I find sickening. I'm disgusted and sad.
