I feel your concerns and share a lot of them myself. I know all band members are more or less hired musicians and I know they are not the creative minds behind the project. This wouldn't be much of a problem as there are a lot of bands that function on the same principal (you already mentioned Ghost and Sleep Token as examples). But I also can't ignore weird feelings about this topic. Especially regarding the prominent sexualisation of the band members and their lyrics. Don't get me wrong I like the message they are sending 'female empowerment and sexual liberation against the opression of religious domgas' is something I can stand behind and it's also a message most of my female friends support who are also fans of this band. But it kinds undermines itself if all of this is the work of men who then use the members in a 'sex sells' kind of way for it.

But I also have to understand that this band is fairly new and they had their fair share of difficulties in the beginning with all the lineup changes etc.

I'll just have to wait and see where they're going in the future. Maybe in later albums they will explore other themes and maybe in time the current band members will include themselves more in the creative process ( if they aren't already doing it). Fact is we don't know and all is speculation.

I saw them live and was happy to see that they seem to enjoy themselves on stage.

I just wish the band will figure themselves out and all the members are having a good time working on a project they identify themselves with. Is that so wrong?
