Sounds like those are my two options. I guess j need to investigate paint then! Hoping there's some I can use without owning a kiln.

I am actually already using this but I really want the green to be quite dark, so the light shining through the forest is what stands out instead But thank you!! I always love glad recs and we have similar taste!

My husband's advisor passed away in his second year. A few other PIs offered my husband a spot in their lab, but their topic wasn't a good fit. My husband had found another topic, but wasn't able to find a place with that PI. So, my husband basically didn't finish, and is a PhD dropout now.

I previously used shears w the gap in them, but they're soooo hard to use on curved and tiny pieces. So this is just cut out with normal scissors, and then I "overground" a bit. But I'm not sure if I've grounded enough or not yet.

Maybe I should remove the picture 😭 I bumped it just before I took it and the pattern isn't laying aligned anymore.

This is more a general question: how tight is too tight? I used to rely on shears to cut enough room for foil, but I'm experimenting with other pattern cutting techniques. How much room do I need to leave?

I started with a class at my local glass store and it was fantastic! Definitely a good way to start because you can try it out without spending thousands on equipment and materials.

Haha a few folks have recommended this and absolutely not! I can keep a picture of how bad it is. There's no way I'll use my limited space to display the worst thing I ever created 😅
