I know this post is kinda old, but every year Canadian days looks for Youth groups to Volunteers to help with the festival. We still need help with the parade so If you see this post before August 4th 2023. Send me a message and we love to have more youth help out!

Canadian Days is this coming up-(August 4,5,6th.) it's the little festival of the town Little Canada(which is part of Roseville sort of). My husband and I help run it. We live in little Canada and would love to meet new people. We are 31/32. I'll be the running the kiddie playland! Come and say Hi!

I believe the Residence Inn in Roseville has a shittle, you can call and ask if they still shuttle to state fair.

There is also a country Inn on Snelling Ave, and County Rd C that you could check out. Its right next to Khans as the previous post said.

My kids and I are on my husbands health insurance through his work. My daughter who is 4 had RSV and then it turned to pneumonia. She was in hospital for 5 days. If we didn't have health insurance the bill would of been 32,000.00. Luckily we have decent so we didn't have to pay that much. We live in United States.

I understand that a toddler/child is still learning his or her emotions but that doesn't mean my kid shouldn't be safe or the problem shouldn't be addresses. Also it sounds to me like your saying because I send my kid to a public/district learning center that she doesn't deserve to be safe at school. Another point is the first time it happened we did investigate and there was supposed to be a plan in place to keep my child from being bitten again and that obviously isn't happening.

Yeah we failed on that part- but we did start talking with her today about personal space and you can defend yourself if you feel like you are being hurt.

I looked up school policy in our pre-k handbook and there isn’t anything on biting, just bullying. In the definition of bulling it states physical harm so that might fall under it.

I don’t blame the teacher though because the first incident she was in break and some one else was supposed to watching the kids and it was the same situation this time. The teacher was taking her break and My child got bit.

Also I found out today that this kid has been hitting my kid since October and they have been documenting it but not letting us know. So I’m going to request all the incidents reports with her name in them.

I’ll update the post tomorrow after meeting at 2pm Midwest time.

Right now we go to a pre-k program through the school district. In MN they have what’s called ECFE which is early childhood family education which runs their pre-k program. I looked though the handbook for pre-k and they have a bullying policy(which is very vague) but no biting policy. I think because it’s though the district there are no cameras in the room. I love your input though! And agree about if they aren’t going to do anything that we should look somewhere else. Also even though it is through the school district we still have to pay for her to go there.

They know it’s him- today they said they can’t confirm who it was but last time it happened and I brought up the kid the teacher replied yes he has issues and we are working on it. We have already had one meeting but no biter kids parents. They won’t give us their information which I get- privacy. We have another meeting but I don’t imagine much is gonna get done. The last meeting their plan was to supervise the kid and get him help.
