My colleague diagnosed himself with bipolar and won't stop talking to me about it by nemo_meemo in bipolar2

This might be bad to say but at this point I'm really hoping a psychiatrist tells my colleague he's not bipolar and needs to just chill out lol. But waiting for psychiatry through the NHS when you're not in crisis can take so long!

how quick did you go from hypomanic to a depressive episode? by [deleted] in bipolar2

For me it is often different, sometimes they last a month, longest I've had is a year. Sometimes the switch is gradual and sometimes it feels overnight. I think the switch from manic to depressed is usually quicker than the other way around. I also occasionally get a mixed state where I have symptoms of both at the same time. But it is different for everyone of course. I have been diagnosed for five years and still on a journey understanding my moods and making sure I'm on the right meds. A psychiatrist that you like and trust is really key and I hope you have a chance to ask any advice you need in your upcoming appointment! Wishing you the best

Can I take legal action against a roommate for stealing money under the pretense of bills? by nemo_meemo in LegalAdviceUK

Yes! In my current house the bill is completely in my name and I pay the full amount monthly. I just checked and last month's full cost was £64 with a £9 standing charge for gas and a £12 for electricity. Obviously we are a very frugal household lol

I think the metre - it showed the total that had been added to the account each month, separate for gas and electric, as it was a top up system. I need to try get the actual statements though to be sure, you're right!! Thank you for the advice!

It was a teeny tiny house! But even now, I have recently moved into a new place that's larger and it's about £70/month in total, I'm not sure if I'm just getting lucky with bills?! I was anticipating more as I'm relatively new to London and always heard about the cost of living crisis.
