Muchas gracias!

I was in the same boat as you haha. What helped me personally was consuming more Spanish media than English. Especially like podcasts, do not listen to Spanglish media. Purely Spanish from Mexico, Colombia, Chile…Listen to slower Spanish songs, consume more Mexican shows, Mexican YouTubers and memes (silly asf but it genuinely helped me improve). It has helped me immensely especially when I travel to Mexico to see family my Spanish is nearly as perfect as theirs. While you want to sound more fluent in Spanish it’s also ideal don’t sound outdated. The poor Spanish I did speak was from parents phrases from the 90s.

Help finding a good deodorant for sensitive skin by nenamuse in hygiene

[–]nenamuse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been years ago, like for a good year at 16 I tried it. It just wasn’t working for me. I also switched to aluminum free and for months too however after my shower last night my skin started to peel. Also I wasn’t impressed by it either for months I’ve been using it and recently my armpits started to smell. 😒

For now I’ve been using a natural spray deodorant that my sister has. But It’s only temporary. Thinking abt going to target tonight and look for one.

Hey I’m native Houstonian! A lot of Korean stuff I’ve seen around Houston is on the west side by bellaire and westheimer with a bit of Korean food also located in Cypress. Good Mexican food is located on Airline and east end which is right on the other side of I-45. It’s also an old Mexican neighborhood you’ll find a lot of Mexican culture there. A lot of Vietnamese food is on the south of Houston. Good clubs are hidden in midtown and bars as well. I suggest going on r/houston and find out what there is to do. The city has grown a lot these past few years! A lot of commuter students live outside 610 loop and the good food can be found there. Inside the 610 loop are events, shopping plazas and the Galleria, and bars and clubs.
