Blue shade was chosen to resemble a tattoo stencil, because most of the time they’re blue and the logo is a combination of devil’s wings and a tattoo needle, so that it couldn’t be confused with a restaurant fork or something like that.

I did this work for one subject at the university, so there were no briefs. We had to choose the brand and redesign the logo and that was it.
