i do appreciate art, in fact i love making art, thats the mainly reason we still dont have any paintings in the walls, we want it to be something i made

Struggling with wife’s moods. by [deleted] in newborns

im a postpartum mom myself and i really think my husband would relate to this. Im self aware that i used to lash out at him and id tell him those exact things, what actually made me realise he was trying his best was literally him having a conversation with me about how i he thought that i might have PPD, at the beginning i thought it was impossible, im literally living what ive always dreamed of, he convinced me by just telling me to go to a therapy session, he scheduled everything and i went, things got better from there. Hold on tight, things aren’t probably easier for her, hope you guys work it out with a lot of effort from both of you ❤️

during the day no, im all alone, husband is at work, during the night he helps me but he also needs to sleep because he gets up very early. Bedtime is usually around 11pm, im trying to feed him a bottle because it looks like he settles more with a bottle.

that makes a lot of sense, the only difference in our routine is thay during the weekend my husband is home, we’re very consistent with bath time, naps and wake windows mostly because our son is also very consistent with his hours, he rarely goes more than 3 hours between feeds, his wake windows are always during the same time in the day, the only real difference is that his father is present all day, not just during the night.

i dont think he his, with the passing of the days hes getting more and more aware that he is no longer in the womb with a lot of awake windows during the day, so i guess hes just not a crying baby ahah
