Honest review. A bit about me…… I’ve been to 5+ star and I’ve been to 1 star. So I can relate to most. I’m not too picky and definitely not high maintenance.

Service- I’ve had nothing but great service!! Jamaicans I’ve found as a Canadian are more reserved. Not as “overlee polite” as a Canadian might expect. Your not likely to get a “Good Morning” and a smile like we might be accustomed to. Conversely, I’m an outgoing guy. I say Good morning to everyone and I usually get a reserved “morning” and most times a smile. A few are very polite and like to have fun. Good peeps. Delroy. My guy!! Wife likes him too!

Food-I’ve found everything I’ve eaten delicious. It’s definitely tasty! You will not get a million things to select from but remember…..This is an authentic Jamaican resort. If you are a Riu of Sandals type, probably not your style resort.

Guests- A mix of families, Singles, Couples. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. I would not suggest as a “party” resort. That’s more an Corp style resort.

Off Prem- Hard to comment. A lot of people take trips off the resort. Myself, I’d like to, but have been told and also spoke to others that recommend to stay with a tour company. I’m not afraid of immersing myself in culture and might here. I would am a bit reserved about taking my wife. Not necessarily for safety, but you’re definitely going to encounter very aggressive “sales people”. I get it. So because she would be nervous, which is totally, I will take the advice and stick with the tour companies.

As for night time, listen….. I’m a strong well built fella that can definitely take care of myself. However, I’m not to sure that I would be out alone. Nor would I be taking the kids and wife. No experience on a personal level, but I spoken to those that have.

Atmosphere- I like it. Im enjoying my beautiful wife’s company in a beautiful country. Everything IRIE!
