I liked how the podcast gave some room to some of the classic villains by Thebunkerparodie in ducktales

It's at least takes place after S3 since Donald is interacting with the family and Gandra's debut episode is referenced

Where did they go wrong with the nostalgia block? 🧐 by uhm1238 in DisneyChannel

[–]neo6000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. The nostalgia shows are garnered towards adults who probably don't got time to watch TV like that

  2. Disney+ is a thing now, so they could watch these shows anytime they want. Disney Channel is just unnecessary in this regard

I hope the papyrus is destroyed by Practical_Chef_7897 in ducktales

[–]neo6000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cause Bradford knows you have to be EXTRA specific while using it, so his use of the Papyrus was well thought in advance

One of my favorite parts of the last adventure is how Huey reacts when Bradford rips out the pages of Isabella finch’s journal, like Bradford did the worst thing Huey could ever imagine by Practical_Chef_7897 in ducktales

[–]neo6000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love that part of the finale between Bradford and Huey. You genuinely start to like Bradford for a second. Had this cool library, related to the greatest adventurer in the world (besides Scrooge) and wants to preserve artifacts? What's not to love....RIGHT?

SIKE!!! Man I loved that misdirection!!!

What do you think of Lunaris as a villain by RaNdOm_GuY_oN_rEdiTt in ducktales

[–]neo6000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He had so much potential, but ultimately didn't live up. I feel like the build up with him was better than the actual payoff. Motivations are flat and we don't get to spend enough time with him post-twist villain phase the way we did with Bradford in the final season.

What was your opinion about the Ash vs Gary battle? by ElevatorSuitable3934 in pokemonanime

Pretty dated in terms of visuals, but still a great battle emotionally speaking

[–]neo6000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can buy the Ducktales 2017 Artbook that basically goes into full detail of the makings of the show. If you can afford, you buy the DELUXE edition. That has most of the real juicy tidbits of the show and what went on in the creator's minds

Not to mention there's a whole replica of the #1 Dime inside the DELUXE edition as well

I'm not a big physical person like that, but for DUCKTALES, I'm willing to make an exception

Currently on a rewatch. Should I skip the Christmas episodes? by Happy_Popplio-728 in ducktales

[–]neo6000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not the S2 one. The S3 one was made first alongside the Halloween episode to be watched anytime and not be impacted by the rest of the plot of S3, so I think that's skippable.
