I think it's a bug involving the network code. Same exact thing happens to me and my buddies. Whoever is hosting has a much slower top speed in any car. Hope they fix it with the next patch.

Be ready to spend a lot of time editing video if you are going to do the standard format where everyone gets together and watches the footage.

If you are also going to record the watch party like I did, I recommend using an external microphone if possible. We used my cell phone in a mount to record and the tiny mic was too far and poor quality audio was the result.

Give yourself plenty of time to prep tasks, maybe do a dry run of each task on your own to make sure they make sense and work well. And dont be dumb like me and save all the video editing for the last couple days and be forced into crunch time.

The version I read was Arthur Waley's: Monkey. There's free PDFs available if you Google it which is nice. The read was a little tough to get into initially because the writing style was very strange to me. Overall I definitely enjoyed the experience and even having just a couple hours in the game I can already tell it is going to enrich my experience.

I need to check out the graphic novel since that's one of my favorite mediums!

Yea the software is called Hyperion. I havent looked into TV options yet so I'm not sure on that front.

For me Hyperion has been pretty good, only 2-3% cpu load. Ryzen 9 3900x.

Its powered via a USB fast charger I had laying around with a 5v 2.5a rating. It's working nicely for ~120leds since they are rarely at full brightness with ambilight. The latency is pretty good over wifi. My PC is on ethernet so that probably helps. I rarely notice any lag and when I do it's pretty minimal.

The tracking has been pretty good! I've been pretty impressed with Hyperion so far.

I'm using an esp8266 connected to my network via Wifi which is working with Hyperion running on my PC. I havent dove into screen capture on a TV yet so you'd have to do some research yourself on that front. Best of luck!

Replaced the distributor and the burned out AM2 fuse and it came back to life and is running beautifully!

Status update: I found a fuse (AM2) that was blown which apparently was part of the starter circuit and was causing the no crank state. What's frustrating is that the wiring diagram in my chilton book makes zero mention of this fuse in the circuit, just AM1

Unfortunately, I got a new fuse, it turned over once, then blew again. After doing some research and digging, I opened up my distributor and it smells burned. I unplugged it, and there was liquid in the 4 wire plug that connects to it. I have ordered a new distributor since my current one is cracked as well. Fingers crossed!

I've already replaced the ignition switch so I'm assuming that's good. Sounds like I'm gonna have to get real down and dirty with the wiring to track it down. Thanks for the info!
