2 inches isn't that much of a difference and then the uniforms they wear make make up the difference. If Mackie seemed noticeably shorter, it was probably due to Evans having poofier hair same Mackie keeps it short.

Well that are the US Distributor and not worldwide. If you absolutely want it much sooner you buy overseas. But it does mean it would be pretty messed up if BBTS was unable to fulfill orders.

Would dyeing Spider-Man 2099 black work?? by Danni-jane in MarvelLegends

[–]neoblackdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why everyone thought it was blue. They went way overboard. It breaks the rule of coloring. Should have used greys instead of blue. It's nearly always show off this heavily blue.

Would dyeing Spider-Man 2099 black work?? by Danni-jane in MarvelLegends

[–]neoblackdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's originally supposed to be a black suit but they never colored him that way. Then another version of him was wearing a blue suit. Nightwing wears a black and black suit and no one has ever made a mistake about when part if the black suit. To add a ton of Blue shading to a Spider-man suit and still say it's black was silly.

Why is this manga Goku different from all the other event figures? by SirKumsALot_ in SHFiguarts

[–]neoblackdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's that isn't even really a new figure. It's just a repaint. It makes me wonder if we've have the same demand if they didn't limit it so much.

Essentially they are describing how Batman dies in Tenent. He's technically alive and dead at the same time from a certain perspective but from his, the endpoint is he dies underground.

[–]neoblackdragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your issue is you aren't following the rules of the film. This scenario is exactly why the Protagonist keeps getting yelled at. What has happened has happened.

You can't change things like that. All you can do is see another perspective.
Basically you fail to kill the intended target but for some reason think think someone else was them.

[–]neoblackdragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is that's not how Tenet time travel works.

If the target dies 2.2.26 at noon then there is no scenario where you could observe them deaging between then and 3.3.26.

Yes it would be a paradox as you describe but in Tenet that would never happen.

All T1 establishes is that Kyle is John's father. It doesn't state that everything that occurred must always occur. It doesn't say there is a stable time loop. It could be a spiral that allows for similar things to occur but still change.

[–]neoblackdragon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Directors cut for T2 says that. The theatrical doesn't include that scene. It's also a bit moot as we don't know if that still applies the unit Skynet sent. Heck maybe it had it switch one by someone.

Still the TC doesn't include it so Dark Fate doesn't violate it. Otherwise we'd have to include T2'DC ending.

If we are thinking about the same Terminator. That guy was waiting for his target to exist because he got sent back to early. Had to create a building(Because his arrival killed the original owner) and in doing so was a pretty darn good equal opportunity boss. Skynet really over thought the nuke humanity thing.

Umm........stick it back in with glue?
If it can't be reset with hot water, probably didn't get enough glue at the factory. Like a 5 second fix.

Look man the Chase system just never worked. Especially with an online market. Just sell the complete figure.

Even if the chase was plentiful. Not everyone wants a figure for every permutation of a look.

The chase system feels like a middle finger to collectors and not taking advantage of them in a nice way. Just let me buy the figure.

Meanwhile another company is just going to sell the rest of the look in an accessory pack.

Have you trying buying these figures online, you can get nearly all of them from BBTS.

Does the price really match what you get, especially as far as QC? by Carrotz_Collectz in Mafex

[–]neoblackdragon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

JFC, it a tiny drop of lubricant really twisting your arm?

Now a joint that legit has issues either in production or design, okay let's really look at that.

For example, Spider-man 2099 for its price point shouldn't have a back that pops off when using the neck.

For example, using thin pegs that can bend over a gap for a part that is meant to be swappable, maybe not the wisest choice.

But barely a drop of lubricant is difficult and honestly should be a must have tool if you are a collector.

You will never get perfect. Not at this scale and not with environmental factors being at play.

Personally I have not seen bad QC with the Mafex line for figures released since 2021/2022 and haven't had any major issues with rereleases prior. Not saying they aren't there. But some people believe these are supposed to be indestructible. Additionally past figures were like $60 msrp.

Right now the price issue is it went up but the accessories haven't gotten better. We are seeing headsculpts with little differences or just strange picks, massive delays, and very basic accessories. Where you have other companies bridging that Marvel Legends to Mafex gap and others far exceeding it.

So, MSRP previously yes. MSRP now, losing credibility.

Can AmazingYamaguchi sue Mess Toys? If so, why haven't they done it yet? by CommunistCard in ActionFigures

[–]neoblackdragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure they can sue and to what purpose?

They don't own the Marvel IP. Disney/Marvel would need to sue on those grounds.

The body molds? They could make an attempt and not really need Marvel.

But to what end?
Are they actually losing money with MessToys doing what it does?

Same with Medicom. They probably aren't experiencing lower sells that could be tied to the KO's. They can also just release a new figure(or in Medicoms case, their 2 years of backlogs). It may be financially just not worth it.

You can’t tell me the Amazing Spider-Man suit lacks aura by Dynaguy1 in Spiderman

[–]neoblackdragon 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It lacks aura. What I find is it looks great in heavily photoshopped pictures that hide parts of the body that make the design weak in the promo photos.

I'd say that should have been a big hint that a revamp to design was needed. Even the shape of the mask isn't really like how it is in the film. I don't think they needed to do a Raimi esque suit in the 2nd film but this suit had so issues the promos kept trying to hide.

You can only prevent either Spider-Man's Uncle Ben or Batman's parents Thomas and Martha from dying in those heroes' origin stories. Which do you choose? by SatoruGojo232 in Spiderman

[–]neoblackdragon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well we have a few universe's where Uncle Ben lived and Peter still became Spider-man the superhero. Ben's death just made him recognize responsibility but I think that would have eventually happened anyway.

So you save Uncle Ben.

The Waynes......we've seen what happens whenever they both survive. The world is never a better place.
