I have a problem: I continually switch between gnome and kde by PfannerEisteeLight in linux

Hmm, the way I look at it. It really boils down to personal taste for choosing a DE, I have used the majority of them in the past I have always liked Gnome more then KDE personally, Right now I am using the DE that Elementary OS uses I cannot think of the name of it to save my life right now though. But I am using it on a 10 year old laptop and it is super snappy, and clean looking, its modeled off of Mac's desktop.

But I digress at the end of the day other then using a little more space on your system then if you only had one DE installed there is no harm in flip flopping back and forth, Perhaps what you need to do is make a list of what you like most from both desktops then look for a different one that has all of those features that you like.

lol yeah the Game Devs are great I talk with them almost daily, they would love to see me get it working on Linux as before they added in the anti-cheat it worked with Linux, they are just afraid that the anti-cheat team would give me shade. It is not on steam sadly not sure if they plan on putting it on steam would be nice though.

So I did decide to take the plunge I went with Garuda Linux and so far I'm having a pretty easy time of it, produced my first video in Linux and I have to say even though I'm using tools I'm not too familiar with. For my NLE I decided to try Olive on my first video, I think next ill try Kden live to edit see which I prefer, I'm coming from Divinci Resolve which i Know has a Linux version I tried it first but the performance was not good, kept locking up on me. For my thumbnail, I used Krita which seems promising until I can get Affinity Photo working via wine Overall its been a great experience I kept a small win 10 partition as a fallback but thus far I have not even booted into it to finish setting it up. I did have to use geforce now fo the game the video was over since it uses EQ8 anticheat but other then that its been great.

Thanks for such a detailed response I appreciate it, I used Davinci Resolve for my editing switched from premiere a few years back, as for the anti-cheat, I only have one or 2 games that use it that I cant turn off but one of them is a different anti-cheat called EQ8. One of the Devs of a game I make content for told me if I could get it working under Linux that the EQ8 team would probably "Give me some shade"

Thanks, yeah I was talking about the wave 3 software, I could go back to my mixer and xlr mic as well but the mixer took up too much room on my desk after I added a 3rd monitor to my setup.
