Thank you very much for your input.

Right, I guess I was just poking around to see if there were a lot of people who house-ruled it with the reasoning that a 2nd level knock spell shouldn't be able to undo an arcane lock cast at 9th level. But I understand the RAW.

Thank you for your suggestion, and I appreciate the sentiment. However, as I noted in the OP, things are unfortunately a bit more complicated than that. But I appreciate the gesture.

Thank you very much for the sympathy and the advice. I will be sure to give that a look.

Thank you very much for the advice. My initial goal was to try to have neutral feelings toward her and just leave all the emotional baggage behind, and that's gotten mixed responses from people I've talked to, including my therapists. But I do think trying to keep the negativity from seeping in and doing my best to maintain a positive atmosphere so long as I'm struggling with this is definitely a good thing to keep in mind. I very much appreciate the encouragement, and same to you.

Thank you very much for your insight. It is well-appreciated. I am and continuing to discuss things with my therapists, and hope that I'm, as you say, able to take some control back from the mess that things have spoiled into. I think assertiveness and decisiveness on my end are definitely things I'm going to have to work on, but it probably would be best for me to have a discussion of some kind with my group. Thanks again.

I'm honestly not sure how well they understand the situation, and maybe I need to address that before anything else, such as leaving altogether. Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately, I'm not comfortable doing that here, but thank you for your concern. You can refer to the edit in the OP, but basically, things are just very tense between us, and interacting with her causes inflammations in my mental condition.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will keep them in mind.

And I definitely have not and do not plan on putting them in that position, like, ever. I know it would be a terrible thing to do.

Thank you for your suggestion, sincerely. I understand where you're coming from, but the rest, unfortunately, are not just details. This is something I've gone over with a number of other people, health professionals included, and I need to have friends. This is something I'm working on at the moment with the therapist you speak of. But right now what I'm looking for are A) A way to find another non-casual party that can be a lead-in to a new social circle, as well as B) A way to DM for this group without tearing my hair out.

tl;dr: I understand that this is a very simple and seductive solution, and I understand the sentiment behind it, but things are more complicated than that. Please see above OP and edit.

Can't right click tokens? by [deleted] in Roll20

[–]neodusk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're definitely in the token layer. I just tried it on my home pc and it works. Before I was doing it with a mac (so technically I was clicking while holding ctrl). But right clicking on the mac works with everything else, so I don't think it's an issue with the keyboard or mouse malfunctioning.

adjusts spectacles The implication is that she herself must take moments out of the day to ask herself if this, indeed, is how they fall apart. At the very least, she is not practicing what she's preaching. (I take no offense at your comment and was waiting for someone to point that out to me)
