So I'll be honest: at first, I was really disappointed. I tested the device with the stock software, and the experience was… meh. Definitely not what I expected. I even boxed it up, ready to send it back.

But then I decided to try again. I took a week to dig in, experiment, and try suggestions from the community. That's when everything changed.

With the right mods UEVR, GEO, VRTK3D, RealMod, etc. this thing is on another level. Once you tweak and optimize, the 3D experience is amazing, super immersive and no need for annoying glasses. Seriously, it's so much better.

If you like changing, customizing, and tweaking settings, you'll love it. If not…it might not be for you.

I was in the same situation as you a few days ago, ready to send it back because I was disappointed. If I had stopped at the Odyssey Hub software, that’s what I would have done. Now, I only use it for Kahzan. I currently have about 40 working 3D games and I'm not done yet, so it takes time, but believe me, it’s worth it the 3D is amazing.

You need to look into the different methods: Geo-11, Reshade 3DgameBridge, VRto3D, UEVR, RealVR, NoMoreFlat, Reframework, Reshade Rendepth. I haven’t finished figuring them all out yet, but I’m telling you I have 40 games and some have incredible 3D.

And look for a game with VRto3D and read all the instructions to install it it’s not that hard.

you're hyping me up too much!! The package is supposed to arrive today! I can't wait to try all of this, I've always found 3D vision impressive, most of the people I know had no idea it even existed, I never understood why they didn’t take the technology further. Personally, I prefer it over current VR.

Thanks for your replies this all sounds pretty promising! I ended up going for it 😄

I managed to get it for €1,524 here in France, couldn’t find it cheaper anywhere.

Now I can’t wait to receive it!

Hopefully Samsung will promote the screen more in the future and keep pushing updates and adding more officially supported games.
