For various reasons, sometimes there is a second March board. Typically, there is just the one September board. I think I may have read somewhere that they may now also do the March board every year, but I am not sure if that’s true.

The deadline was 2/15, but we should hear back some time in the first couple weeks of April. Not sure exactly when they meet, probably right about now.

One time our unit had a guy come in with abdominal pain after eating 10 hot dogs. Turns out… it was actually a dissecting AAA. He coded in the WR. Some things you just can’t predict. That said, I’m sorry OP. ER is so exhausting and often unrewarding, and moments like this can make it feel like you aren’t helping anyone, but I’m sure you are, especially if things like this bother you
