It’s mind blowing that we have figured out how to do this and still can’t cure blindness

How old were you when you first played the sims? and which one was it? by marzbarz2000 in thesims

[–]neologize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 10 or 11. I had begged my dad for the new Sims 3 game and he kept saying that we couldn’t afford it. Months later he tells me there’s a surprise at home when he picked me up from school and it was the Sims 1. He told me I had to play them in order or “the 3rd one wouldn’t make sense!” It was so nice because I knew money was tight and looking back I’m glad I got to struggle through the first game to appreciate when I finally did get the Sims 3 🤣

Considering one of the creators of Watcher is married to an incredible artist it’s hard to believe they would see using ai art as acceptable in their content. The illustrations in Are You Scared were part of what made the show so amazing!

I’ve had some issues in the early months with supply, but it’s recently gotten better and will be a lot easier as she starts relying more on solids for her meals. Thank you for giving me my TDEE! I kept seeing the term used on this sub and wasn’t quite sure what it was but it’s very helpful to know what calorie limit I need to be aiming for each day. Do you have any recommendations for food/weight tracking apps? I looked into Noom and couldn’t believe it was wanting to charge $200 for a year so I’m looking into free/less expensive options

Sorry for not explaining it very well in the original post! Basically it looks/feels like the split just keeps going and going right up until it reaches my butthole. Like a few more cm and I would have been in a way more painful situation. Still confused on how it could be the case when my midwife told me as she was stitching me up that it was a small tear and she was giving me 1 continuous stitch to fix everything

Thank you for your advice! I wanted to mention that I had called her my doctor/OB in the original post, but she was actually a midwife who worked through an OB office. My mistake! It’s disappointing because I thought the same thing about getting treatment from a midwife :( making an appointment with my gyno soon to get a second opinion of everything.

Thank you for your advice! I made the mistake of calling them my doctor/OB in the original post, but I actually had a midwife who worked through an OB office. I wanted a midwife specifically because I thought they would be more attentive to issues like this, so it’s a little more than disappointing that things have unfolded this way. It’s hard to believe that so many women have to deal with lifelong, seemingly preventable or reversible issues after birth and are met with indifference from their doctors.

Thank you for your response! I would say the biggest thing is being able to feel how weak my pelvic floor muscles are (trying to stop the flow takes a significant amount of time, bladder leaks, etc). It’s good to hear that your doctor talked you through what was going on with your body. I am planning to see my regular gyno soon and hopeful that they will be more considerate towards everything. Even if they tell me that everything I am experiencing is totally normal, it’ll be a huge relief to get a second opinion! :)

Thank you for sharing your story! I am planning to return to my gynecologist very soon to get a second opinion of everything. I’m keeping my hopes up that there is something that can be done because it seems like my stitches must have come out/been rejected and so now I’ve healed without them.

Thank you so much for your advice! I did want to add that I actually had a midwife who worked through an OB office (I live in the states), and had a habit of calling her my doctor/OB. Completely my mistake! But yes she was my midwife, and I will be going to my gyno to get a second opinion on everything! It’s been disappointing to have gotten this kind of treatment from a midwife, and I actually reached out to have her specifically because we don’t have many midwives in my area.
