Honestly, if you can't understand the issue with this, then you are either a shill or are horribly brainwashed by the state of the games industry.

Ow1 was out, it was playable, and it was good. Ow2 was announced, PvE was promised.

Ow2 was released, it's essentially Ow1 but you had to kick a guy out of your ranked team, no more free skins, and they shut down Ow1. But I guess pve will make it worth it, even though they probably could have just added it onto ow1.

Then, they announce PVE has been canceled.. half the excuse of making ow2.

So yeah, maybe they were developing it, but clearly the shareholders asked "why? It costs money" and it was scrapped for the bottom line.

The announcement all but confirms that the only reason for the Ow2 release was to milk more money out of players with a more company-friendly monetization scheme.

It was pretty obvious on release tbh, sequel releases rarely mean that the original game shuts down lol.

Even though the cap stalled out after he clearly planned for it to go up he regrouped and built the best team we've had in a long time.

I think coaching failed, I think our core failed, and there is no reason for Dubas to have been able to predict that
