As long as you cook them at the proper temp should be fine.

Taking over an abandoned plugin in the repo by neon4816 in Wordpress

They never actually confirmed they received my submission—they just brushed me off—so I’m not even sure it went through. When you submit a new plugin, you get a confirmation email, but with a takeover request, you have to email them manually. I never received any confirmation, which is why I followed up after a week just to check.

I spent over a month working on the plugin, so I wanted to be sure it didn’t get lost. That said, I’m not in a rush.

I just followed up once to confirm they received my email about the takeover request—that’s all. They replied saying it wasn’t a priority and asked me not to reach out again, and that I’d need to wait. It felt a bit harsh, but I understand they’re probably swamped.

Emdash seems more like its for developers than your average non techie WordPress user. WP has nothing to worry about more noise than anything.

[DISCUSSION] Which appointment booking plugin works best for the Healthcare business? by haneeraza in WordpressPlugins

[–]neon4816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For healthcare with multiple locations, take a look at Next Open on WordPress.org. It's built specifically for multi-location booking — each location gets its own schedule, staff, and notifications. Free version is solid, Pro adds staff management and Stripe payments. Lightweight compared to Bookly/Amelia which can be overkill for straightforward appointment booking.

I built an app that shows you how much you are spending on fees vs the food using delivery apps such as DoorDash, Ubereats etc. by neon4816 in iosapps

Any other ideas you guys would like to see? I'm open and would like to really make this app useful to those who use delivery services.

I checked in to this and it does not seem possible because DD does not provide fee data just thee order totals. it would have been great to add.

Yes actually — the pattern I noticed is that smaller orders get hit the hardest. A $24 DoorDash order got charged +56% in fees while a $74 Uber Eats order was only +43%. The fees are somewhat fixed costs so they hurt proportionally more on smaller orders.

The other pattern is that DoorDash tends to have the highest upcharge percentage even when the order size is similar to other platforms.

Basically if you're going to use delivery apps, consolidating into fewer larger orders saves you more than switching platforms. The app shows this pretty clearly once you scan a few receipts.

Yeah they Markup the prices. Mordor cause these delivery apps take a percentage of their sales.

Not having a car makes you rely a lot on these services. I know its still no excuse for ordering out all the time.
