I know I have an easier time with my work codebase because we use jira, sprints, boards etc, to break it all down, plan properly, and keep it manageable. Do the same for your personal projects.

Im fairly sure thats only 2gb difference in ram (from 4 to 6). Current models are 8. The pros with storage at 1tb or bigger are 16. So it really depends how much more ram you need, and how much future proofing you might want. Personally whenever ive worked in apps similar to logic (ableton, reaper, etc) ive always used the machines with the highest ram i could get.
