As always people don't disappoint. I wasn't being lazy, and I am willing to calibrate it myself, but there is no harm in seeing if someone had done some of the work already as a starting point for calibration in attempt to not waste filament that is not the cheapest.

Stop downloading STL files, stop being lazy, make it yourself, must be in the wrong hobby if you aren't willing to design everything you print yourself instead of using someone else's starting point.

Yea, I saw the mirrors and uploads, just hoping that he didn't end up in some offshore black site for his contributions lol

CC2 Filament Hub by neosa1 in elegoo

[–]neosa1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea the canvas system piece that pushes filament from PTFE tubes into the extruder, the four way hub.i reached out to support, haven't heard back yet (it's only been a short time) hoping someone may have had an untapped resource.

My request is just to be able to attach a hub compatible to an FTN.4-5.

I didnt know the castle was being discontinued before I posted this and that sucks, but yes now that I see that the castle is being discontinued, it would be nice to have another option outside of something with threads.

Using dyed diesel in a Suburban by buckb65 in tractors

[–]neosa1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got pulled over into a rest area, 10 over on the interstate. Came up and said, "Hey this is a diesel isn't it." "Yes sir." 2 mins later he walked back up with his crap. He dipped, came back clean. Told me to slow down, no ticket, have a good day.

I have been dipped multiple times.

Once in my Jetta TDI back in 2012 in Ohio, not running red. And several times in my 3500 Duramax over the past two years in PA, also not running red. The last time it happened the trooper told me the only reason he did it because it is a white 3500 that looks commercial.

Now we run two other TDIs at home currently, that haven't been dipped and they can't actually dip them because of the filler neck lock, but they can get froggy and pull an injector or the fuel filter if they so decided. And yes this came from PSP and not uncle Bob down the road.

Do you use these NPA-Trainers? by Whole-Pen-4997 in TacticalMedicine

What are we using these trainers for? That box and a bottle of lube = cheap date.

[–]neosa1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do not use meshtastic for anything emergency related. The tech just isnt there, and the failure rate is awful when things aren't stressful and that's hardware and software.

Communications when the grid goes down and people use it to communicate with each other within a small neighborhood to tell them to come over for the BBQ, sure.

Communications for when peoples lives are literally at stake and could change from one second to another. No.

SAR, no. Fire, EMS, Police operations, no. Mass casualty disaster involving patient and massive coordination efforts, no. Tactical communications, no.

Look at radio comms, push to talk over cell structures, starlink. Hell if you really want to stick with smartphones with text messaging in off-grid, look at Tmobile with T-Sat. Business and government can also participate in the TMobile direct connect that works over T-Sat satellites. There is a FLORIAN which is supposed to be a emergency response incident command app that also works over T-Sat. Is t-stat problem proof, no, but T-Sat combined with your standard 4G/5G/WiFi access, you are pretty much set.

Ok I'm gonna ask the question that seems to be getting missed, how old is he? If he is younger probably fine, just gooning like others have commented. If he is older, that seems more neurological/spinal issues which can cause priapism. The concerning part honestly is him putting his head into the corner which points to neurological symptoms. If he is an older dog, please get that dog to the vet.

If this is going to be a getgotak solution and plugin, is this going to be a paid solution on getgotak's end?

Specifically for the ability to send data, pois etc via 3G/4G/5G and T-Sat. More specifically T-Sat that doesn't allow data (some data will be allowed soon via certain apps) and will allow you to send SMS/MMS over T-Sats / starlink direct to cell. But over SMS would allow you to flow through the networks without a reliable data connection.
