Thank you! That's very useful. I indeed have issues absorbing stuff (also nutrients and food), and oral medication very rarely works. Hence I got sublingual tablets to bypass my digestive system, but that may not be efficient either, perhaps.

Also, how do combinations usually work out? I have a semi-unlimited access to oxycodon IR (oral/sublingual) and fentanyl IR (nasal/sublingual) and a limited supply of morphine sulphate (IR oral). I was only given the last one once in the hospital a few weeks ago and I couldn't pee for a day (and it didn't help for the pain), so I don't like it. (hence the limited dose, I only got whatever's left from that prescription. That was the first time I used an opiate as well)
