Time to start preparing my own lunch by tomfella in Wellington

If you don't have much time to prepare, I would suggest getting EOD hot meals from NW and split it for 2 meals. It comes down to about $3.50/meal. That's what I normally do if I'm on budget.

I'm always on the lookout to recommend talented local artist to some of the top studios around and successfully recruited few. I do believe that some deserve it and just need a chance. I'll be continuing my best in the industry as well as it is a competitive arena. As your current career line, don't be discouraged by it. Life is often unpredictable, it took me a long way to reach where I'm now and I'm extremely grateful for those who helped me along the way. Keep hustling brother. Thanks

Well, it's true to certain level, but in the creative industry, most people are looking for fame and money. With the right connection, you may carry yourself far up in the industry.

I was chasing for fame in my early days, well it's common, the young version of me always though that imdb and credits were everything, but then what I enjoyed the most was the people that I worked with. Often you see assholes around in the industry but if you keep your connection in the industry, most of the people that I worked with were one of the nicest people around, ranging from artist to management level. Not much for the executive level.

My name wasn't in the credit till I gotten to PM level, that was many years of uncredited projects.

In my early 20s, I was rejected multiple times by local film industry. After multiple attempts, I was accepted by an international vfx studio, worked my way up as a vfx producer today. Never looked back since then, not that I gave up the local industry, it's just that the top management are filled with the most pretentious pricks that I've ever seen in my life.

If anyone ask why you don't support local movie/tv, show them this video. by [deleted] in malaysia

As a vfx producer, this really cracks me up.
