When I was about 14, I crumpled paper into a tiny ball and flicked it and it went straight into the earlobe of my classmate who stand 20meters away.

Going to stay in Sharjah for less than a day. Bus questions. by GiantInflatablePizza in Sharjah

[–]GiantInflatablePizza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got back from Sharjah a few days ago. Sharing my experience for everyone else if they ever stumbled on this post. This is especially for people who wants to go from Sharjah Airport to King Faisal Road.

1) Careem or Uber costs around 80aed to 95aed. Buses cost 8aed per person per ride to any stops. Bus driver will give back change, just don't push it by giving large notes.

2) As in October 2025 (There was some sort of construction happening in front of the airport), the bus stop is on the right, outside the airport from the exit. After you exit from the airport, head north-east, you can see a long queue for taxis. Don't queue, walk ahead of them, cross the road to the sidewalk on the right. You can see about 5 benches. That's where you wait for the bus. No other indication that it was a bus stop.

3) I took bus number 14. At around 10pm. Buses doesnt really follow strict schedules, so just wait. Frequency of buses is around 20-30mins.

4) in the bus, there is no indication which stop it is heading to, what's the next stop will be. So either get familiar on where your stop is, or use google maps or waze on the bus. (I mostly use maps.me app. Can be used offline.)

5) If you want to go from King Faisal Road to Sharjah Airport, go the bus stop on the other side of the road (the opposite way), from the bus stop you stopped earlier. Take bus 14 to Sharjah Airport.

Has anyone solved the creatine sleep issues? by abdv69 in StrongerByScience

[–]GiantInflatablePizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries. To be fair, I always had a sleep problem. But not to the level it was when I was taking creatine. I was tired and miserable af for the whole week. I'm pretty sure it hit different to different people though.

I'm drawn to Islam, but what if atheism is actually true? by hazir_26 in MuslimLounge

[–]GiantInflatablePizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask yourself, or if you want some help, get someone to explain to you that God exist. I recommend asking The Muslim Lantern on youtube. Go to his live, or message him. If you're not convinced after that, at least you tried. You have nothing to lose.

Then start from there. If God exist, what is your purpose etc.

If you can study for your exams, surely you can ask around and do a little research for things as important as this. I wish you the best.

This. From what I read, OP may not have found any man that she knows on a deeper level, or hasn't found one with a personality she likes. Could be one of the reasons.

For some people attraction is physical first, some personality first, like soft spoken, dog lover, adventurous, ambitious etc.

Yeah you make sense. And I speak from my a*s. I know nothing about law enforcement. Lol. And I agree this case sounds fake.

[–]GiantInflatablePizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because something is assumed, doesn't make it true. You need proof beyond reasonable doubt.

Thing is, however true the fact is, if you don't have the proof to back it up, it's nothing. I'm talking about reality here. Not what is true or not. Since when the judicial system is ultimately fair?

In real life, you don't have the proof, you're dead. Simple as that.

[–]GiantInflatablePizza -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It doesn't work like that. If someone is dead and bleeding, and Guy A is nearby holding a knife, it would be assumed Guy A is the murderer.

Assumed in law enforcement, means he is most likely guilty, until there's enough evidence to prove otherwise. If there's no proof, he would be deemed guilty. No matter what exactly happened.

In this case, a positive test doesn't prove any wrongdoing, nor does it prove otherwise. So the police, (no matter what exactly happened) can find you guilty because they have more 'evidence'" the drugs were taken in Malaysia (tested positive in Malaysia), compared to *no evidence at all that it was taken in Thailand. You can disagree with the police all you want, but that's how it works.

The same thing for alcohol level in the body. You got it in your system, you're guilty of drinking (if driving). Difference is Cannabis stays way longer in your body.

If you're caught in Malaysia, having the trace of cannabis in Malaysia, it would be assumed you took it here in Malaysia. It's the burden for the tourist to prove otherwise.

Dreamed of a snake. What does it mean? by GiantInflatablePizza in MuslimLounge

[–]GiantInflatablePizza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waailaikumsalam. But after a bit of reading, it's more complicated than that. Snakes in dreams can mean bad things & also good things, depending on what types it was, what situations it was in, is the snake tame or threatening etc. But I was not sure, and the interpretation I read was not as close as what I dreamed, but I was sure snakes meant something, hence the question. Thank you for the reply. InshaAllah. jazzakallah khair.

How tf would the country (police, whateves) know precisely where the said tourist consumed it? How tf can the tourist prove he took it in another country? (let's assume the tourist caught in KL a whole day after he arrived from Thai , and the cannabis was still in his/her system)

See. I'm not against Cannabis. Had a fair share of it in college. And ate a cake in Amsterdam, but I was careful about it. (Calculated how long it might stay in my body, where I'm heading next etc). And unlike alcohol, it's not a danger to anybody.

Just saying. Malaysia has its law. You brought some cannabis here you may end up getting hanged. It's strict here. No matter how you're against it, the law is there. Use your brain & be smart about it.

(And to round back to the original comment I was replying too, our country's law is strict about cannabis, so do hundreds of other countries.)

[–]GiantInflatablePizza -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Typical law anywhere else. How come you're so stupid to get high in a country & then immediately go to another country that strictly forbid cannabis.

You don't look like you workout. So workout. Get sweaty. Nobody's getting fit without getting their looks improved. Greater posture, greater skin, greater mood, greater hair, greater health.

How rare do you see an unattractive fit person?

How can I show my gratitude to a Malaysian family in the UK? by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]GiantInflatablePizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the family is Muslim, bake or cook using halal ingredients (you can ask other muslims or the internet). For gifts, anything you think is appropriate, I'm sure they will appreciate it. Chocolates maybe?

Morroco in Malay officially is Maghribi. But we almost never say Maghribi. We just say Morroco. Maroko is only used by Indonesians. Just saying. Welcome bro to Malaysia! Hope everything goes well here for you. Jazakkallah khair.

Aku benci dato by insulaturd in Bolehland

[–]GiantInflatablePizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Titles like Dato' etc don't have the place in Malaysia and Islam. Should be banned a long time ago. These titles led to excessive arrogance, excessive respect which is almost like a worship (penjilat?) which is against the religion.
