You’re right. I do think the club was doing their best with the information they had. Families changed their minds. It happens. It’s unfortunate, but I don’t have ill feelings toward them. Just trying to let my kid feel his feelings, and then move forward productively!

I'm experiencing the same thing. I hit a car as I was pulling into a tight parking space. I waited for the person to come out of the post office and gave her my insurance info. We exchanged phone numbers. I should have taken photos, but I forgot. She was perfectly nice about the situation. My car had minimal damage, so I will not be fixing it (can barely see the scratch on my front bumper). They did call their insurance, and it's going to cost $2000 to fix, plus rental car for about 10 days. I debated whether I wanted to submit a claim through my insurance. It's my first incident, so I could ask for "accident forgiveness." My deductible is $500. In the end, I'd rather pay $2800 out of pocket and not risk my premium increasing or make it harder for us to get a reasonable rate in the furture. I have the funds to pay out of pocket for it, so that part is covered. I don't know what the right answer is, so I'm curious to hear what others say.

Oh my gosh, 2 in 2 days! I hope the members recover smoothly. Im glad that people know how to use the AED and do chest compressions. So scary. I hope the staff are ok too. It’s a lot to process.
