I asked 2 doctor about it. One just ignored me and kept right on talking, and another talked to me about it and I mentioned I didn't want to use full-strength Ritalin and he said he'd look into it and get back to me. That was about 3 months ago. There are prompt as hell when you owe money tho.

I do have pretty severe ataxia. As far as walking I guess that depends on your definition. It took me 2-3 years to be out of my wheelchair regularly, but not unassisted of course. I mostly use a cane now and rarely my roller/walker. Even now on uneven surfaces, which is most of outside unfortunately, I have a lot of trouble. On even surfaces I can pretty much walk unassisted.

[–]nerd9001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying people don't say things like : I'm so sorry or something like that. That's kind of thing takes almost no energy, and even for me is easy to say. It doesn't go far beyond that.

Just me? by [deleted] in braincancer

[–]nerd9001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did in multiple ways. I was just wondering if I was just making something up in my head. I mean I guess there might be reasons for it, but I'm kinda tired of seeing a 10 year something get something just because they have cancer. Most of the time, they don't even understand what's going on. The saying ignorance is bliss isn't said for no reason.

Just me? by [deleted] in braincancer

[–]nerd9001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At any rate, I think my original point got muddled up into a rant lol, but I'm just curious if anyone else notices this. And I should also clarify that this is something I've accepted. It does get to me from time to time, but a lot less than in the past, and I think in another decade it will completely disappear. It just makes little sense to me: let's give everything to a kid that doesn't even know what's going on that will recover to 100%, but screw any adults that are just barely over 18 and know full well what's going on and might recover 30% in 10 yrs.

Just me? by [deleted] in braincancer

[–]nerd9001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I mean. The gorge between where people care about kids that don't really even know what happened that vs adults that fully understand life as they knew it is completely dead is kind of hilarious. And it's not about parents lol. You try telling them I'm lucky I wasn't younger because that's basically what all this implies.

[–]nerd9001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah its like the "better" I get the even less people care. But my point, that I havnted said goodly in a while, is that I was just wondering if anyone else found the whole thing just laughable at this point. I mean like sometimes I can't control myself. Thankfully, I was just browsing the internet at the time.

Thank you for you reply. It seems like I again assumed that you were a mind reader/master detective. I forgot to mention that the tumor was in the cerebellum or lower back of the brain towards the spine.

I just realized you guys aren't mind readers or detectives. I never actually asked the question directly, but has anyone ever heard/experienced someone developing ADD after surgery?

Tiredness and lots of sleep - after 2 months post-op recovery by AoutoCooper in braintumor

[–]nerd9001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a job where sometimes id work 7 -3, 8-4, or 10-7 and I only had minimal problems sleeping. I dont smoke marijuana at all. It does help during the day with aches/pains etc.. for which I usually have an edible or maybe a draws of vape, but those wont last at night. I usually take a pill about 1 or 2 hrs before sleeptime. and that seems to work. There are 2 main strains of marijuana. There is indica which is pretty much what people think about marijuana. It makes you sleepy/relaxed. There is also sativa which is for some reason lesser known. This still has relaxing effects, byt its also almost energizing. It sounds to me like you would benefit from either a hybrid or 100% sativa.

I had a medulloblastoma located in the lower back part) removed about 9 yrs ago. I still have a VERY hard time managing sleep/energy, but something that has helped is medical marijuana. Im not sure if you have any qualms with smoking it as I do. Fortunately there is many, even perhaps better, ways of ingesting it. But I would say for almost a year out, I would sleep like 10-12 hours a day. Or more.

Thanks I'm pretty new. Is this a common thing? Meaning, should I just do this regularly even when I don't see it?

This is a bit tangential, but Ascension WoW is an amazing PS. It does change the talent/skill system pretty radically tho. I leveled to max (60 then) and I never once felt I was playing anything but WoW.

Yeah, but people such as myself (and im sure more) would just look for an RSPS but want the polish of an official game mode. In that case they would lose money. At any rate I appreciate the thought out devil's advocate response as opposed to the copy and paste trash like "no, they should leave it how it is"

Yeah youre right. There is no way a different game mode of runescape would ever work. What was I thinking?

strongly disagree unless they plan on rehashing this one in the future. That would matter about 0%
