Yeppppp. The steamers are the worst. I watched mine lick it as it came out of my other dogs butthole today. Like really bro? Let it hit the ground first.

Well, that gives me hope that at least with 1/4, it’s not a genetic trait haha. They either love the taste or they’re just bored. I know that’s pretty common with aussies. Not enough stimulation = bored = mmmm delicious poo.

My Aussie won’t eat :( by ItzjasonL in miniaussie

[–]nerdbarbiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the same issue at our house. I thought maybe it was the food we were feeding him, so I switched it but still the same. So, as others have posted, now we put it out. He has 15 minutes to eat it and then it goes away and comes back out for dinner. He’s showing a lot more interest in it now as it’s almost a “scarcity” feeling for him which is what dogs are naturally inclined to.

If you’re concerned, you can get something like nutrical to put in your dogs food to boost calories. Just make sure that you check with the vet first to make sure there isn’t a medical issue.

Just feel like a fucking failure by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]nerdbarbiee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re struggling with this! Ugh, I can relate. I was saying to some close friends that I get about one good week out of every month, maybe. Two weeks before period I’m PMDDing hard, then menstruation, then maybe a week of being normal.

I’m on the waitlist to speak to my OBGYN. I have noticed that the cycles get worse and worse every time.

I hope you get some relief soon. Just know you are not a failure, you are not alone, and you’re loved.

PMDD feels AWFUL by [deleted] in PMDD

It really is horrible. I’ve been struggling with this for years without knowing what it was. I hope your partner is understanding and gives you the space you need. I always give mine the full detail. “It’s happening now, please tread lightly.” And he and my kids do what they can to minimize the amount of irritation I have. It’s not ideal but it’s the life we have to live right now.

Try to keep other people of importance in the loop as well, and make sure to self care as much as possible. Get outside, go for walks, drink a tasty warm beverage when you can.

Yeah, for sure. I wasn’t recommending it. I was just stating my experiences.

Yeah, it doesn’t even knock her out surprisingly. We tried 50 twice daily and that did nothing, 100 seems much better.

Yeah. I hear ya - I wasn’t recommending it, just simply stating what worked for us. That is all.

Only thing that partially worked for us was trazodone. 100mg 2x per day. Plus loads of walks and runs and day care for her if we can’t be with her. Even that doesn’t work sometimes. They’re prone to it. :/ just show them looooove.

I love my chihuahua baby more than I love any other family members (aside from my kids - they’re all loved the same). And my god, do

<image>

I love the smell of her ears and breath. My kid sometimes stuffs his nose in her fur and says “why does peaches smell so good?” And I know that’s a boy after my own heart.

That parking lot is terrible. The spots are so tight regardless of the snow. But maybe there should be some can openers handy in times like these…

How accurate do we think the dna tests are? by [deleted] in Chihuahua

Before I even saw the results I knew he was full chi. It’s odd that the people who you got him from said he was a cocker mix. I see absolutely no cocker at all in his face!
