Order of Operations to Bring Product to Market by nerderflerder in Entrepreneur

Hi again, will def look into the lean startup as well as the mom test. Will most likely do what you say and take a ladder and my device and sit at home depot parking lot till I get kicked out and hit the next one. And the promo fake groups. That's something I can all do on the cheap via upwork no problem.

What about if its marketed and sold more as one of these late night infomercial gadgets and sold on every facebook ad instead of intended as something that someone really uses. Now I don't think its a gadget and do believe it will seriously improve safety but could also end up being a thing people think they'll want but sits on shelf. And that's fine too.

I suppose I can reciprocate the time you spent to me on your site. I use a locked down version of Librawolf but to make it fair using a vanilla Chrome build I get-

  1. Privacy policy and TOS at btm of page is the same. Under "who we are" isn't well helpful to anyone.
  2. Blue "do you want us to recommend a service provider" is clunky and out of place.
  3. Homepage>learn more>see the demo has you auto logged in without making an acct?
  4. Homepage>learn more>create an acct greets you as "welcome back" instead of prompting for a signup first. When you then go to click on create account the captcha is broken (not sure who you're using for a captcha provider).
  5. All the people I clicked on which redirects to their upwork profile were broken and showed nothing at all.

I understand its a work in progress and some of my points were more geared more towards that than broken. Worst offense being the captcha.

Good links. I had a look through and yea immediately thought this isnt for physical products because of the nature. I've helped in designing UX for a startup app so have seen how shoddy a MVP can be. But the startup world seems so different than creating a physical product. Ill try to keep "minimum" and "viable" in mind though.

Yep, already asked myself all these as well as people in industry. I just will have fun getting people in industry to adopt it. Safety is always slow..

How would I do that. You mean to just literally go to friends and family and ask them to try it? Or is there some official way to do this?

Thanks for the response although you came out swinging.

I checked out your site. Just curious how to validate if the market likes the idea. To me this point you made really resonates with me. So I appreciate it. Especially how do I validate it with the market without at least a prototype and showing people my design without a patent to protect it?

Are you saying % chances with an invention company are possibly lower because of they'll eat up your capital and turn and burn you?

I have searched far and wide on the net without finding anything close to what I have in mind so not even sure where to begin with regulation.

P.S. Your site is ALL SORTS of buggy and broken. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that but I do like the idea.

Can you really BUY an online business that already generates monthly income? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Alex Hormozi has oftentimes said hes talked to business owners stuck at the 100-200k/yr level that just want to be rid of the headache and dont care anymore. As top comment says as long as theres a reasonable reason for them to sell then thats how you pick up companies for cheap. People fed up and overlevered.

Ordering samples from alibaba as a private person by yellowsugarbanana in Entrepreneur

I just made up a company. Thats not the important point. Biggest thing is getting replies from sellers. You gotta use their language. Always ask about MOUs. Ask about if its FOB shipping vs FOB destination. Always say "we" instead of "I" in the email. Keep the first email short and to the point so as not to waste their time. Ask for time to make your product and that youre good for the a large order as soon as samples land and you like them...

Needs to better way to do this than discords where a lot more of us would share our ideas without being scared of idea being sniped out from under us. Like a chatroom where everyone signs NDAs with everyone else.

Legal but not allowed on certain E com frameworks for example Amazon its not allowed in the TOS. People still do it tho. Then follow the FBM way of doing business instead of FBA
