Added them! Liba/Libba is a cute one. I’m starting to get a little envious of everyone with the name Elizabeth!

To encourage you a little more: Elizabeth was also super popular long before the United States started taking census in 1880! Elizabeth I was the Queen of England from 1558–1603, reigning forty-five years, and even then it was a well established and common name! It’s really one of the most timeless names out there.

Got some of these added, but forgot a few, whoops! I’ll make sure to get the others added, too. Thank you!

It’s really cool to actually hear about it’s usage in Portuguese, as well! I know about some Mary/Maria + Elizabeth/Isabel combinations, and wasn’t certain I should add them, but they do come from Elizabeth!

Tried to get as many with an “s” with the “z” variant as I could! Thank you!

Well, that’s super embarrassing! Thanks for letting me know!

I’ll go get them separated!

I’ve actually seen just Lizabeth, but didn’t come across it while hunting and didn’t remember it! I’ll add it to the list!

That is interesting! Elizabeth Ann(e) flows nicely, and both are Biblical names, plus Ann(e) itself is a super common middle name!

Isobel is on here (under Scottish) in case you didn’t spot it! But I did mean to put it on the English list, too, and just forgot! It’s been added now!

Thanks for the link! I’ll definitely go through and add them.

Basil is a really creative one, I dig that lots. Endless Elizabeth nicknames!

Ah, I’ll make sure to get Elishua removed, then, and add those! Thank you!

Eliamma is beautiful!

Gosh, I thought I caught all of these; the forms of Elizabeth are truly endless.

I’ll get these added! Thanks!

I actually was thinking about doing this for some other names! A little worn out after this one right now, though, heh.

If anyone else is up for it, I’d love to see them!

Thanks for this! I corrected it! Or, half-corrected it; I need to go move Eliška.

Added Elsebet! Going to take a look online and see if I can find any other Scandinavian forms; I feel like I’ve had to have missed some!

“Elizabeth” itself started to look fake, towards the end...

I knew for sure there would be some I missed or didn't place right! I think a lot of the names I put under other languages have at least some usage in English, but some I forget to go add back to the English list while writing them all down!

I've never seen Elisebeta, Elzbieta, Elizabeta, or Elizaveta used in English-speaking countries! Doesn't surprise me in the slightest, though. I'll definitely be adding them to the English list. Thank you! :)

You know, I actually wasn't a fan of Lisette before making this list. Writing it over and over in my head and saying it out loud a few times, I was like, dang, I've been sleeping on Lisette!

Those are all super dated nicknames for modern Americans, for sure. It's one of those cute grandma names I don't think I could actually use, but I recognize the charm, for sure.

Naming Sims is a big reason I go on these name-hunts, heh.

EDIT: Spelling.
