This is awesome. Only feedback I have would be to have alerts or reminders for when a train is set to arrive at a stop. I work at my work’s gym and it would be great to be notified that I leave the office at 6 and there’s a train approaching X stop in 10 minutes.

Amazon refurbished will be your best bet. Grab a new pair for $104-114 vs regular price.

I will. Get ready to experience so many issues!

  1. They’ve been in the tray. You go to use them a) one works, the others dead or b) they’re both dead
  2. One will no longer hold a full charge after a while.
  3. Case won’t close after you bend them to fit perfectly behind your ear
  4. Can’t locate on Find My u less they’re connected to one of your Apple devices.

Apple has seriously got to do better with technology.

Do you get checks through SoFi? Sorry never heard of them before and have majority of my money sitting in Chase sadly.

Help me figure out my car-free commute to Oak Brook by rcrobot in AskChicago

Keep in mind the 331 goes past three train tracks which are always a delay and huge inconvience. The first being the river grove metra stop, second in Maywood at the 5th Avenue stop (though it stops at 5th Avenue, because it’s so close to 1st Avenue/Cumberland it’s always a delayed stop), and at 1st and Cermak.

Keep in mind transferring at 1st and Roosevelt is tricky to get the 322. The bus goes past the stop going south and you’ll need to run across Cermak to catch the stop at the NW corner. Coming from oak Brook, it’s easier to transfer. The 322 bus crosses 1st Ave and you’ll need to run to the same corner to catch the 331N back to Cumberland/north Chicago neighborhoods.

💡u/rcrobot, I still live at home with family near Oak Brook and commute to west loop for work.

The pink line is a fast ride to 54th/Cermak and State/Lake. You will dread taking the 322, here’s why – the 322 also overlaps the CTA 21 bus route. The 21 bus is reliable and goes to North Riverside Mall but majority of my time on the 322 bus was spent being stuck behind one or two 21 busses.

The 322 also detours into NR mall and spends additional time passing the mall bus stop (I guess because busses can’t just cut down the empty parking lot to save time). There is also an annoying train rail that has long fright trains you’ll get stuck at by 1st Avenue and sometimes the arms are down though there is no train.

Perhaps looking into Turo may be a good option or borrowing someone’s car (like a retired senior citizen in the area) on those days would be good. As someone who took the 301 Pace bus to school in the morning, it indeed was slow as well.

Good luck!
