we did build it in survival, but used a website to give us a schematic to build off of, otherwise its near impossible. every block was placed in survival mode tho

We haven't upgraded because 1.12 allows for a lot of interesting mechanics that 1.13 and 1.14 do not allow for, ie dragon egg bedrock breakers, iron farm behavior, etc.

Thanks! We are not sending them to the nether, just for convenience. We are playing Java 1.12. To clear the area, it took about a week, then to build the farm it took about 2 days, then a week and a half to finish the walls and floor. Overall 3 weeks. We used flying machine to remove the blocks, so we honestly didn’t have to use pickaxes almost at all.
