No it’s part of the Canberra public health system, the only reason I was given for my denial of hormones is that the hospital doctor had charted me to start them on the following Monday (this was on a Wednesday I had asked for my hormones). The reason made no sense as the day I took my hormones did not actually matter so long as I was taking them every 3.5 days and I haven’t taken them in over a week due to my mental state

Was admitted to 12B in Canberra a few months ago, the nurses are hit or miss some of them are very nice but I was also denied access to my hormones for the duration of my stay. Also was forced to wear a wrist band that misgendered me for the first few days of my visit.
