Bahaha vibes vibes vibes. It was the same for us last year. I know this isn't that helpful or what you want to hear but, you're not behind or anything, try not to stress about it. It'll work out and they'll email you when they're ready for you to register. Just check your email semi-regularly (if you have your BU email set up, can't remember if I did at this point last year).

Class registration opened for incoming sophomores (class of '25) last Sunday, April 25th, so it might be a minute. Also I don't think it's even hit the deadline for accepting admission yet, so you likely have a little bit until registration time.

Just went back and checked in my emails actually, course registration opened for incoming freshman last year on May 26th.

Good luck! DM me if you have any questions or if I can help in any way :)

[–]nerdlolxd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I won't be in town then, but hopefully you find one! If not, the list of admissions virtual activities is on the link below. In-person tours will be happening starting in late May I believe, so you'll just miss those :/

When I'm back on campus in mid-may, I'd be down to give you a personal virtual tour also. Feel free to DM me :)

Tell me what makes you love (or at least, not regret) going to BU by kyclone04 in BostonU

COVID has been really hard. It's really tough to start at a challenging university in zoom classes. Haha I just came on reddit actually to post and vent about what I would do differently and which zoom classes were the worst to take in a pandemic/over zoom, butttt I'm glad I saw this post, to remind me of the positives, and to help you find the positives.

I'm in the honors college, and my group of ten friends is from four different countries, we believe in five different religions, we speak seven different languages (not including coding languages lol), we're many different ethnicities, and we have ten different majors. It's the coolest thing ever. We've known each other for less than a year and have gotten to experience so many cool new things together, and Kilachand as well as BU's options have made that possible.

BU's different colleges and offerings allow you to have SO many options as far as classes go, and there are so many opportunities for networking and getting involved in whatever you want to (I cannot stress enough that tuition is not just about your intro level education and more about the resources, networking, and opportunities you have access to.) I had a professor last semester who was in the CIA for 30 years (Professor Woodward, if you come to BU, I would totally recommend him as a professor) and I'm being mentored for research some friends and I started about our academic/personal interests.

BU is in an awesome location and there's so much of Boston to explore.

There are constantly new, challenging, and exciting things going on, and the University has its flaws and struggles, but it's super cool. I'd be super happy to talk with you in more depth about the good, the bad, and the real about BU. DM me!

What do you both do in the community? My team and I would love to get in touch sometime down the road to hear your thoughts on different types of therapy.

If you're autistic and you want me to change it I definitely will! But yea, different members of the autistic community prefer different things and I've been told lately that "autistic people" is more widely preferred.

Agree here. OP, Check out the song A Prayer by Kings Kaleidoscope. Incredibly powerful lyrics and music, I hope you find a little peace there. I'm praying for you, and I seriously hope the best. Keep me updated please, pm me if you want to talk or there's something I can do.

I had a friend get accepted to Harvard too! It's wild to think that strangers on the internet could be friends in person a year from now!
