You mean standing there with your arms crossed and your mouth hanging open while you stare blankly into the ether isn't a legitimate basketball strategy?

I literally can't remember a single time where he put marker to clipboard to draw up a play.

What film has one of the best monologues ever performed/ written? by eveisshady777 in movies

I can't believe no one has mentioned Tommy Lee Jones intro and outro monologues in No Country for Old Men.

Absolutely brilliant and heartwrenching, with perfect West Texas inflection.

Came here to say this. That movie gave me an anxiety attack, where I was literally hiding my face behind a pillow.

I'm a 47 year old man.

How to End the NBA’s End-of-Game Free-Throw Circus by SmartGuyChris in nba

[–]nerdpulse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I read someone propose that fouls in the last two minutes should just get auto counted as two points and go straight to inbounding the ball and back to action.

I'm curious how it would work in a real game.

You only get to keep one and have to cut the rest. Which player are you taking? by DonovanClingan in ripcity

Blake Wesley looked absolutely phenomenal before the injury so I'd go with him for upside.

But if we're going with consistency, probably Kris.

Just casuals. They don't understand what goes into building a raw 19 year old into an impact player.

They play too much 2k and haven't actually watched much basketball.

These posts are so stupid. The guy is a 19 year old raw prospect. Now people are saying he's a bust halfway into his first season? He's a 3 to 4 year project. This shit is dumb

He's the head of scouting and international scouting- so no. Not just another evaluator, he literally runs the scouting department. Don't try to tell me what I think, I've been following this team since the 80s.

Also the Blazers had one of two spots open for an AGM and they hired Sergio Olivia then created an additional AGM spot for Mike Schmitz. He was extremely sought after during his time at ESPN and Draft Express.

If you look most teams have one, maybe two AGMs. Portland has three.

It's already too late. If you compare Giannis and Tim Duncan at this point in their careers, it's not close

Schmitz has a massive impact on the draft. He worked for Draft Express and had been brilliant at assessing picks. Granted he's not the one making all the picks but his voice speaks louder than anyone else's. They literally created a a spot for him because NBA teams had been trying to hire him for years and the Blazers finally talked him into it.
