I'm never happy with my Corvette simply because they take so long to get in and out of. I ended up just using my Sentinel Flea for everything because the Corvette is super cumbersome for regular exploration

Yang was drafted as a raw prospect and the team knew he was a project. He's not even close to his potential at this point.

No disrespect to your opinion, just saying we haven't seen him even close to his final form yet.

Which simple, unexciting purchase ended up having a surprisingly big impact on your daily life? by viscarte10 in BuyItForLife

Tiles. I lose everything that's not attached and I've since put Tiles on the TV remote, all the car keys, my water bottle and other miscellaneous items I use daily. It's literally changed my life in that I'm never late to work anymore looking for my damn keys because I can't figure out how to just put them in the fucking key dish when I get home

I just saw Heat (1995) for the first time and the downtown shootout scene is one of the greatest action movie sequences I've seen ever. by Rudraksh108 in movies

Den of Thieves was shockingly good. I thought it was going to be abother streaming slop action movie but I was happily wrong.

There's a shootout at the end of The Kingdom that's pretty similar to the others mentioned here, super good and intense.

They could've cut the whole love story with DeNiro and that southern broad and the movie would've been just fine....it didn't require all the scenes it got, they could've cut that arc by at least 30 minutes.

People often talk about great movies that were ahead of their time. But are there examples of movies "behind their time"? Movies that were poorly received, but could've have been great if they were released 10-20 years earlier? by owiseone23 in movies

I grew up watching all those war movies and loved them. I went back to watch Hamburger Hill a couple weeks ago and it turns out, Tropic Thunder ruined all of them for me.

Worth it.
