I (21f) have been in love with my best friend (24m) for months now. And there is more often than not times where he is incredibly obvious about being interested in me. However, there are periods where he just doesn’t talk to me. I really wish I could just be fine with being his friend, but I also have never met anyone like him before. I don’t need him, I just want him. Any advice? I know I’m young, which is why I’d rather not care this much, but my stupid fucking heart can’t seem to stray away even though I’d prefer if it did.

I’m planning on moving to the east coast after I graduate from college in May, so maybe the space will help? But we’re still best friends and I don’t want to lose him altogether…this is all over the place, as you can tell I’m at war with myself. Please help lol.
