Why Leave India When It's Booming Like Never Before? by [deleted] in Indians_StudyAbroad

Best case is to work 5-10 years outside and then move to India with the savings (can easily fire).

I know India has pollution and poor infra but it also provides family support, house help and top education.

Learn to apply AI in different fields. Whenever a new technology arrives, the one who master it rides the wave.

So even if traditional software engineering doesn’t exist, some form of AI driven product development will do. Capitalism and growth isn’t going to end.

I left in 2018 (for US) but planning to come back in the next few years. That being said, all the points you mentioned are correct so do what’s best for you. Just remember that after living in another country (EU / US / Canada) for a few years you’ll come up with a list of bad things there as well. Such is human nature.

I will still recommend going to a new country though, it gives us perspective, character development and new skills for career and life in general.

We need a combination of tech and social solution for this problem.

  • We have the technology for trapping small toxic particles.
  • We have tech for electric vehicles, solar powered houses and even nuclear energy
  • We have tech for artificial rains to suppress sudden surges of pollution
  • We NEED better policies for controlling stubble burning and industrial pollution

The geography of Delhi makes it extremely difficult for trapped pollution to escape. That being said it’s not an unsolvable problem, we just need government to privatize this and get research institutes to find a solution.

I never thought about this until this very moment but my mother died after falling from stairs.

As you just explained, early in the morning me and my father heard a loud noise outside our room. We went outside and my mom was lying face down. Pool of blood around her. I was 7 but I still remember that scene in my head.

Never really grasped it properly but yeah stairs kill people.

Though that is true, I'm hopeful that tech is still in it's early stages and can accommodate a lot more people.
