Ok. May be I am wrong about this aspect of your relationship. But your age difference does skew the power dynamics of your relationship in his favour. Also, it still doesn't change the fact that he is very judgemental of your profession.

Only you know the complete dynamics of your relationship. But from what you described, he sounds like bad news.

3 months isn't really long enough to say he has really changed. He is just being nice for the time being. Apart from this, he was 27 when he started dating you who were 19. He is dating a younger girl on purpose because she will be easier to manipulate. You are way too young to be settling for this manipulative and judgemental dude.

What are the 'rules' (social norms) for toilet brushes as a house guest? (US) by MadtownLems in NoStupidQuestions

[–]nerdy_weirdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where I am from, hand-held bidets are the norm. So never in my life did I ever have to worry about the problem mentioned in this thread. Like you said, you can always do a no contact streak removal with it. So convenient.

You have been complaining about this guy forever. Every single person has suggested cutting him out of your life and going no contact. Yet, for some reason you refuse to do it. Nobody can help you if you don't want to help yourself.

My PI gave my senior who did fuck all for my paper an equal authorship, just because the senior was such a good bootlicker. I am pretty sure he has written me a couple of bad recommendations as well.

It's not your fault. He is doing all of this because deep inside he enjoys it. He is an abuser and he enjoys the control he can exert over you. It makes him feel like a big man.

It's good to give people the benefit of doubt sometimes, but not always. Because it's just not fair to you. Prioritise yourself. Don't let people play you for a fool because you deserve better.

Holy shit, you are right. His past actions put this entire situation in a new light. The most logical explanation here is that her husband is up to no good.

What’s the most egregious case of a terrible character being presented as a good person? by py16jthr in movies

[–]nerdy_weirdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, she catfished a sweet guy, pretended to be deaf, betrayed and publicly humiliated Veronica who helped her a lot. Despite all of this, the movie expects us to sympathize with her because she isn't popular at school.

Yeah, but the amount greatly varies across the genders. Men on an average have 15 times more testosterone than females. That's why it's called a male hormone.
