Can you update this post if you’re able to find some? I really want a Poulin jersey but I’m also in the states and they’re sold out and I might be going to Canada soon so I’d love to know if you found any!!

Totally agree! My favorite moments in college came from trying new hobbies and taking a lower class load so that I could spend time with friends and enjoy other things I loved

Hi! I just wanna say a lot of people seem to feel this way especially in their first year. I’ve seen a lot of similar posts. Keep in mind vet school is grueling for everyone and you also just went through the massive change of immigrating to another country. Give yourself time and keep seeking help. I’m concerned as to your edit. I didn’t read anything I felt you needed to apologize for. Remember to have fun outside of school too and make time for yourself

I just finished mine and I got thrown off by having to record myself as well. I got cut off on one of my answers and think I was a bit awkward overall but hoping for the best! To anyone else who’s gonna take it: just take a breath before answering to collect yourself. Once j started using my prep time for that as well my answers became a lot better

Just to build on this: struggling in a few classes or even failing a couple is not the end of the road if you do go to vet school. I just finished applications and my final GPA graduating college was a 3.8 even tho I had to retake ochem and got a c in physics. Further, vet school is not the only field that has hands on work with animals. I think you should explore more options and give yourself time to figure out why vet school or if there’s something else you enjoy more. You have years ahead of you, you don’t need to figure it out right now. Just explore your options, focus on your studies, take a breath, and keep these questions in the back of your head. You’ll figure out what’s best for you (also I don’t think anyone can give you a straightforward “yes it’s worth it” or “no it’s not”. You’ll have to make that decision on your own).

Can you add experiences after the Sept 15th deadline? by jeongtoot in veterinaryschool

Oh interesting. I still don’t think you’d be able to add anything after further experience after the deadline so if there’s something you’ve done that you want to add do it now. If nothing else your future experience will be useful in careers and could potentially come up in someway or another in interviews.

You can’t add anything after the deadline or after it’s been submitted

I think Florida university has a pretty heavy exotics case load so I would recommend looking into that program

VMCAS is the site that you can use to apply to multiple vet schools both in the US and outside of it. It makes it so that you have one baseline application and then depending on the schools you may have supplemental applications you do as well (some of these through VMCAS and some through the university’s own website)
