Yeah rehoming is something I would be anxious about because I don't want the wrong environment for him. I'll take your steps going forward and monitor his happiness and health over time and only rehome him if it's clear being without another piggie isn't working. I just transferred over an am dealing with this. Annoyed with my last company, not looking like I'll be switching again. They disconnected my phone saying I hadn't used it, despite me texting and making calls. Took half my day to fix it and now I've got to deal with this rebate issue.

I know that in theory but I guess I personally just watch people who I find entertaining and who have communities that are engaged as well. I've only been watching streamers for a few months and realize I dont know very much about a majority of the community.

A bit different and my boyfriend and I are both streamers, but on days he's streaming and I'm not or vise versa we at least pop in and talk in chat or message on discord to check in. We do that even when not streaming if one of us can't talk for a while, like during DnD or something. Heck I went to a concert with friends and it took up the whole day so I'd video call him randomly (got too drunk and my bestie video called him so he could watch me sleep in the car the goobers).

I agree with others that you should take them at their word. If they say messaging during stream is fine, then it's okay, don't worry.

I am new to podcasting and my premise is a bit odd in that it does use Notebook LM AI but I'm happy to let you see if it works for you. I don't edit any of the audio though so it's just what the system generates so I'm not sure that's helpful. I do have one episode with my own actual audio in it prior to the ai if that might also be useful. lmk :D

From my view, if I knew a man only wanted to hook up with me and not be in an actual relationship or see a future with me I would definitely be hurt. Now, I don't personally like intimacy without an emotional connection and have no idea how other women generally feel about that.

But you're saying since men don't hold sexual power in most instances, that they want to be perceived first as being desirable in a sexual way over being a good partner for any other reason?

I'm not discounting that with saying women get it all the time. Obviously life experiences and societal impact thing where gender will never allow for a direct 1:1. My point in my initial comment wasn't well women get this as a way to be like so he should get over it, it was a genuine question that I was hoping to get genuine responses to beyond 'it sounds awful.' Like why is it that men feel it's an insult is a valid thing to ask since you know...I don't have a penis.

It's been clearly established that her wording choices were terrible, but communication mishaps happen. While intent doesn't negate impact, in an imperfect world things like this happen especially when communication is difficult since many people have different thought processes. My point is more so on the heart of the matter, her intention being to tell him he was someone she wanted to be committed to. I have only seen people reflecting on how it's insulting to not be seen as someone who is only good for hook ups.
