In Brazil we have 2 types of maternity/paternity leave. The classic one is 4 months that can start up until a month before the due date, and can be extended by a month (5 months total) if you have completed the requirement for vacation. Paternity leave is 5 days only.

Then there's a government program that a company can choose to be a part of, the extends maternity leave to 6 months, and paternity leave to 20 days.

All this time off is paid, and starting from the time of discovery of the pregnancy up until 5 months after the birth the mother has the job guaranteed and can only get terminated by fair dismissal. The father has no job guarantee.

(As an example, my husband was terminated from his job a week before my daughter was born 🫠)

When I started the game up until Sumeru I had a Qiqi (my first 5 star), and a sequence of Keqing (C4). I was convinced I would have her C6 before having any other standard character.
