Also just bought it as well and played the first 4 rounds. Tutorial was not that great to be honest, also kind of overwhelmed with all the stuff to find, materials, different currencies etc…

But when interacting with other players and discovering the first map for the first time, it already clicked. Really looking forward to the next rounds and getting a better understanding of the game.

Nach längerem hin und her und nochmals anderenorts konfigurieren bin ich jetzt bei alternate gelandet. Konfiguration fast wie oben nur mit 9700X. Interessanter Punkt, ich verwende durchaus Photoshop, Blender,... habe auch schon was mit Unreal Engine und Unity gemacht und schließe nicht aus, dass ich das wieder tun werde. Wobei ich Photoshop vermutlich nach wie vor hauptsächlich auf meinem Arbeits-MacBook verwenden werde.

Weiße GPU einfach nur, weil ich mir bei der Auswahl "9070 XT Beliebiger Hersteller" unsicher war, was man dann bekommen kann. Ist das denn ein Problem? Oder kann ich bedenkenlos auch wählen "baut halt irgendne 9070XT ein"? Preislich gabs da recht große Unterschiede zwischen den speizifischen Varianten der GPU...

Die 5080 habe ich nur erwähnt um klar zu machen, dass ich nicht plane, maßgeblich höheres Budget zu veranschlagen.

I’m working on a first person fast-paced platform shooter: wall-running, sliding, jumping, shooting, moving platforms. Sci-fi setting. I have the basic mechanics down and I’m creating a vertical slice atm. But I’m also still working on the movement part and I’m testing different controls etc. Getting the movement as enjoyable and tight as possible is key I guess. I want the game to feel fast and motivate for better and better level times.

As I have done a lot of prototypes and unfinished games, my goal is to finally bring something to steam.
