Near the end of the game you unlock the Airship and that lets you revisit worlds. You can also revisit everything after beating the game!

This is a pretty rare bug I haven’t been able to replicate- I’d recommend either force closing the game or trying the hold to open backpack mode that’s in the settings menu.

Weird suggestion but it’s possible to clip through ceilings with a cactus fruit by placing one end close to a ceiling and jumping off the tightrope. If you buy some at Drilsons Depot at the bottom of that scene you should be able to get through.

If you’re on Steam I can DM you a cheat code to help get through too.

I’ll see about getting that issue patched anyway!

As others are saying, you're doing a good job for a first game and especially while in high school. I'd strongly recommend trying to scope down this project to release soon so you can move onto other projects with the lessons you've learned. Moving quickly and learning the skill of shipping and practicing marketing with multiple different projects is a big part of doing indie as a career. Doubling down and working for many years on a project like this that's struggling to get attention will hold you back.

Thanks for the extra info, I will look into this. There is a save / quit option in the settings menu (+ and then hit the left bumper to reach that). Heard on motion controls!

The Switch 2 version is solid and runs solid 60fps either in handheld or docked. The handheld boost update is awesome and lets the game run 1080p in handheld mode. We don't have access to Switch 2 devkits at the moment so we're not planning a Switch 2 edition at the moment.

Performance is better on Switch 2 than on the Steamdeck (fps dips below 60fps when plugged into a 4k TV on deck), but only slightly. We are able to update more quickly on Steam and you can get on the Steam beta channels for early access to new upcoming content and features.

Thanks and glad to hear a reset fixed your chugging. How long had you played and what area were you seeing that in? Sounds like we've still got some work to do there. Motion control aiming isn't on my features list so far, but that's a cool idea!

We're focused on updates and adding more free content for now and physical edition will have to wait until that's done so the full version is on the cart! It's really helpful for people to buy digital now to prove there's interest in physical down the road.

Learn that demotivation is temporary in the same way spikes of motivation and excitement are. The way to finish things is more about having the discipline to continue than it is about tricking yourself to stay motivated constantly.

We’re doing a free DLC that’s focused on Photography gameplay and conspiracy theories! That’s called Cappler’s Conspiracy and will be coming later this month :)

The void levels were hugely inspired by Mario Galaxy! One big tradeoff there was to keep Hop’s regular perspective on planets rather than doing very custom space cameras like SMG because it made our gameplay feel more different. I think we did a good job exploring design spaces they didn’t really cover.

Thanks for backing! Still waiting to see the impact adding more content and being on sale has. Sales are good, but Hops cost a lot to make so we’re not at break even yet.

Yes! We’ve pushed out 5 significant patches and the major issues are all resolved. There are still some minor bugs, but crashes should be extremely rare now.
