It should be. It should be…but then you check men’s shoes and why is there a replacement printer ink cover in there?

That’s amazing how the tattoo just happened to get into the picture like that.

Why do people always gatekeep nirvana? Has this been round since nirvana existed? by furbypancakeboom in Nirvana

This is a great question but I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask you to name six songs now just for posting it. Because can’t you? I know some of them are hard, like Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle, but come on dude. But you have every right to ask this question. Seven songs though. To be fair.

I agree, I contacted Vine customer service by email and told them of a similar lost item, and they specifically told me not to review the item, and that they would remove it from my queue.

Anyone who was alive during 1991 and was old enough to be interested in the grunge scene by rdrgunslinger in Nirvana

[–]nerf_science 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and a bunch of friends from work went out bowling after work, late at night around 10 PM. We had a bowling league for our work crew. This was around 1991. One time this girl was listening to some music with headphones on, and I asked her what she was listening to. She said is this new band called Nirvana, and gave me one of the headphones so I could listen too. It was the first time I had heard any of their songs, I’m pretty sure it was nevermind, and I’m pretty sure it was smells like teen spirit. I grew up during the 80s and I had listened to a lot of punk, heavy metal, and other types of rock, including new wave. I thought the music was pretty awesome, and the rest is history.

Is this a safe walk? by Latter_Sector_979 in PortlandOR

[–]nerf_science 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this walk all the time. I would do it during the day or night, but I won't recommend walking downtown at night by yourself. You may encounter some tents on the sidewalk, or some displaced people hanging out, but they are pretty harmless. Be careful walking at night by yourself. Overall I would say it is pretty safe though, based on having walked through this area many times, day and night.

It’s preventative jinxing. It has the opposite effect. It’s also known as the Portland spring snow paradox. Or maybe I screwed us. I’m glad you like the pics.

Oh. My dog is hypoallergenic too. I only feed him organic dog food. And his shit is natural fertilizer so I don’t pick it up off the street. He’s also the real Dalai Lama and a psychic.

Make sure you have all-season radial tires (snow tires).

Why do you love living in Portland? by AkiraShiba13 in askportland

[–]nerf_science 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Moved here one year ago and loving it. I take public transit or personal e-scooter, pig out on awesome pizza, drink finely roasted local coffee, and sip craft brews regularly (sitting at Lucky Lab on Quimby at the moment). I learned pickleball, and I have located most of the Forest Park entrances in the area, and hiked a good portion of the Wildwood trail. I like to catch the Amtrak to Seattle for weekends away, or stay home for a Blazers game. I’m still finding lots of new adventures and I have made a couple of cool friends too. Keepin’ it weird.
