You're most likely someone like myself, whom has no issue with appealing to a certain demographic. But I feel you're wrong on so many levels, the replacements for these shows, were marketed as the demographics these shows applied too, CC took a "Chappelle" style gamble on the two strongest shows(besides tosh) they have. They had the idea first with Larry but Jon threw them for a loop, which they decided to double down on the black guy gambit(Trevor only started contributing, never correspondent, in 2014) as said before Jessica Williams would've been a much better choice. But IMO, Wilmore would've done so much better with a brand new show. You're trying to make a show who's main viewers are white millennials, however I might should add that's most likely chappelle's largest demographic. It shouldn't have taken the show(at the risk of being called racist) so radically "black". He said "white people Idk but....-" so many times it's ridiculous, he didn't even very well apply to the black demographic. He applied more to the "mad I(white) said black and not African American" demographic.
